Buyer Protection and Escrow
Last updated: July 23, 2026
The core promise
On Endo, sellers never get paid until buyers get their item. Your payment is held by Endo (via our regulated payment processor), not by the seller, until you confirm delivery, or the seller enters your pickup code at an in-person handoff.
What's covered
- Item never arrives
- Item arrives damaged
- Item is materially not as described
- You received the wrong item
What's not covered
- Buyer's remorse or fitment mistakes on accurately described items (check the FITS badge and ask questions first)
- Issues discoverable at an in-person pickup you completed by giving your code
- Anything paid for off-platform, cash, apps, wires. Off-platform deals have zero protection, and soliciting them is against the Terms.
How funds release
- Shipped orders: you tap "Confirm delivery" (or the dispute window lapses after carrier-confirmed delivery).
- Local pickup: you inspect the item, then give the seller your 6-digit code. Their entering it releases the funds.
- Disputed orders: nothing moves until the dispute resolves, see the Dispute Policy.
Seller protection too
Sellers are protected from "item not received" claims by platform-generated tracking, from chargebacks on confirmed deliveries, and from return fraud by the 48-hour return inspection window.
